Eli Tomac put Honda back on the top of the podium with a dominating performance at the Motor City’s Ford Field. Going into the main event Dungey was once again the man to be beat after winning the heat race. Tomac was fast all night and had to do some work to catch Dungey and the red #5 plate, but when he did they engaged in battle for a few laps until Eli made the pass and never looked back Cole Sealy and Chad Reed charged hard to finish 3rd and 4th, at times it looked like Sealy would catch Dungey but Dungey held the second spot till the end and remains the series points leader. Kody Kamm looked like he might have something for Hibbert winning a heat race early in the weekend. but the #68 Monster Energy , Stud Boy Traction Arctic Cat was just to much for the rest of the pro-open field. Deadwood SD will never be the same after what they all witnessed Saturday night at the days of 76 rodeo arena in the very picturest gold rush town of Deadwood. After a first lap issue that left the 8 time X Games gold medalist under his sled and tied up with the #11 ski-doo, nearly a lap down the champ remounted his all black Monster energy Arctic Cat and went to work. We had a great time at Big Air for our first visit, Special thanks to Mark & Matt Powers for having us at there amazing facility. Everyone was more than nice and we did know a lot of the racers from Caddy that were there.
