Eli Tomac put Honda back on the top of the podium with a dominating performance at the Motor City’s Ford Field. Going into the main event Dungey was once again the man to be beat after winning the heat race. Tomac was fast all night and had to do some work to catch Dungey and the red #5 plate, but when he did they engaged in battle for a few laps until Eli made the pass and never looked back Cole Sealy and Chad Reed charged hard to finish 3rd and 4th, at times it looked like Sealy would catch Dungey but Dungey held the second spot till the end and remains the series points leader. It was a great weekend for Honda as Bogel won the 250 main.
